My grandfather died in October. I'll always remember him as a car man. From selling car spare parts on the back of his bicycle as a teen to racing in the Malaysian Formula One team, cars were always a big part of his life. My fondest memories were driving with him in his big black Volvo that was built like a tank. He would always tell me, this is the safest car in the world, and I believed him. Up till five months before he passed away, he was still driving his favorite car and refused to give up his right to drive, even if it was at a snail's pace — much to the dismay of the Malaysian public.
